Carfax Abbey was very unique in that it sounded like Queensryche meets
Megadeth with a touch of Skid Row. We stayed together for about 3-4
years with Horacio recording part of my full-length CD, entitled DANSE
MACABRE!
I was still working on some mix-downs for Danse Macabre with Horacio
at his Dissaray Studios in La Puente when he mentioned he needed
a second guitar player.
I convinced him to try me out, and soon joined New Eden! Immediately
Ozzy, Horacio, and I started working on the nucleus of Obscure Master
Plan when we received word that Victor Vaca (New Eden’s first
singer on Through the Make Believe) was not going to sing on the
new CD, we auditioned several singers that were horrible, which
brought me to a point where I had to make the choice to put down
the Axe and head-up the Vox.
I’ve been singing full time ever since, developing my style
into the type of vocalist I would want to hear on stage!.....I have
since left New Eden to pursue a solo career and I continue to live
the metal dream by joining PROPHECY, one of the best Queensryche
tributes I ever heard.
Being an avid Queensryche fan (not only of Geoff Tate’s but
of the whole band up until about Promised Land album), I jumped
at the chance to sing one of my hero’s of Metal!.....I plan
on giving the Queensryche fan the full Queensryche experience, done
with quality, professionalism and musicianship, in addition to releasing
my newest solo material tentatively entitled NATAS DOG.
Some of my favorites and influences include:
Eric Adams (Manowar), Midnight (Crimson Glory), Geoff Tate (Queensryche),
Ronnie James Dio (Dio, Rainbow, Black Sabbath), Freddie Mercury
(Queen), Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Rob Halford (Judas Priest,
Fight, Halford), Tony Harnell (TNT), Sebastian Bach (Skid Row),
Paul Stanley (Kiss), Kai Hansen (Helloween), Sully (Godsmack) and
Ozzy Osbourne.
Long Live The Metal Heart!
